Airspace not showing

Good afternoon,
I am struggling to get my atz and matz airspace to show up. I am using FSX with plan G installed on a networked PC. I have shared my whole C drive. When building the data base I have chosen the FSX programme from the main FSX folder and the scenery.cfg is from Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX. I have followed the manual and looked through the forums for a solution but am at a loss. I also have Orbx global and England & Wales installed. I have attached my log. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Do you have an addon for MATZ and ATZ airspaces installed? These are not part of the default scenery, and I don't see anything mentioned in the log.

Hi Tim, thanks for replying. I was not expecting it. Sorry to hear that you have been unwell, praying for speedy recovery.
I have only installed FTX Global, England & Wales, I have nothing else that provides a specific MATZ & ATZ addon.

Many thanks & kind regards

Can I confirm the scenery file that you are supposed to use. I have tried with the one in the app data/roaming/microsoft/fsx and I have also tried with the one in program data/microsoft/fsx. I get more with the one in program data but still no atz/matz displaying and I also noticed that Southend (EGMC) control zone is not there. I have also copied this into my additional scenery locations:

Z:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAA_ORBXLIBS
Z:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\FTX_EU\FTX_EU_ENG_05_SCENERY
Z:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\FTX_EU\FTX_EU_WLS_05_SCENERY

I have used plan G with orbx before with no problems so this one has me stumped.

I have attached my plan G log as well.
Many thanks

C:\ProgramData\... is the correct path.

Your log file does not include a database build, so it doesn't tell me anything. However Orbx definitely doesn't include MATZ/ATZ airspace. (You can find airspace files on the Cix website downloads section).

Thanks Tim. 1 step forward and another back. So I have my main fsx PC with plan g running on a networked PC. Although I use plan G on my networked PC, I do have a copy of it on my main PC. I downloaded the airspace file from the CIX site and on my main PC it has worked great. I have done exactly the same thing on my networked PC and not only does it not display airspace's, it displays nothing. It builds the database but does not display anything. I have deleted and reinstalled but no joy. I have attached what I am hoping is a more comprehensive log file.
Many thanks

I can see it in the log this time.
Try building the database in Plan-G on your main PC, and then copy the database (in Documents\Plan-G Files\Data) across to your networked PC. That'll probably be more successful.

Thanks Tim, but still no joy. I have tried a clean install, and moving the data file from my main PC across to my plan g folder on the networked PC but the map stays blank. Im at a bit of a loss and not sure what else to try.
Any further thoughts?
Many thanks

It's not something daft, like the airspace is turned off on the Map ribbon?

Unfortunately not. I will talk you through my workflow, maybe there is something that I have missed.
1. Installed version 3.2.1.151 on my networked PC in that default location Program Files (x86).
2. Set run as administrator under compatibility tab.
3. Clicked on build navigation database and selected build FSX database
4. Selected the location of my main FSX folder on my FSX PC (Z:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X)
5. Selected  the location of my Scenery file (Z:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX) ------> Click OK

The database builds but then does not display any data on the map. I don't think it is a connection problem between the two PC's as I can still connect FSX to
Plan G.
I have a fully working copy of Plan G on my main machine, I copied the data folder across to the networked PC but it made no difference.

Ok so was having a play as I was writing this and there is a tick box in the view tab called Map Overlays. By default it was not checked, as soon as I checked it, everything displayed on the map. I have had a test flight and it is working perfectly.

Many thanks for your help. Have a great Christmas
Kind regards
Marc

Did you rebuild the database on your FSX PC before copying it across?

Many of the paths in the scenery.cfg are relative (..\ instead of drive:\), and relative paths do not map well across a network, which is why it's recommended always to build the database on the FS PC and copy it across, and not to attempt building it remotely across a network.
