Hello Plan-G .... I'm trying to run Plan-g on a network using simconnect. My Plan-g log file is reporting that the simconnect.dll could not be loaded from the Prepar3d location. I looked into the prepar3d folder and I could not find simconnect.dll. do you have any suggestions on how to proceed please?

tim arnot

It shouldn't require Simconnect.dll. Please attach your log file so I can take a look.

Some things you should check:
1. You are using the latest version of Plan-G (3.2.1.151)
2. Your Connection is set to Simconnect (P3D) - for P3Dv4
3. You have set up Simconnect.cfg and Simconnect.xml files in accordance with this post http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=3795.0

Hello Plan-G ... did you check the Log file I sent you.

Pearskin

Hello Plan-G ... I STILL HAVE NOT HAD A RESPONSE SINCE SENDING YOU MY PLAN-G LOG FILE. SEE ABOVE.

Because I have not been online since you uploaded the file. There is no need to shout; it will not get you a faster response.

Some things come to mind:

1. Check that "LockheedMartin.Prepar3D.SimConnect.dll" is present in your Plan-G program folder. It should be dated 30/01/2017, and size 253k. (it is not called "SimConnect.dll")

2. If you are running P3D "As Administrator" then Plan-G must also be run "As Administrator" (or vice versa), otherwise they won't be able to connect due to mismatched permissions. This MIGHT get reported as DLL not found, since the failure occurs during the dll startup.
