That looks fine.

If you don't still have Simconnect as part of FSX, there's plenty of places to download it from the web. Here's just one such: https://support.justflight.com/en/support/solutions/articles/17000100065-simconnect-files-for-fsx-p3d

these files are windows installer packages, do I install the simconnectXpack into Plan-G folder?

Not sure about that. You can certainly copy the file from wherever it puts it though.

extracted file copied to plan-G folder, have attached log file, this is what I get now :(
Would it help if I moved to an earlier build of Plan-G

That's actually progress, cos it's loaded the dll and tried to connect, but the connection's been refused.

So now we need to double check the simconnect.ini and cfg, make sure our IP addresses are correct (have you rebooted? that can change your IP address if your router doesn't have it locked down), and is your firewall letting it through?

It was the firewall settings on the Plan-G pc, all is now working :) Am so happy
