airport updates in FS2020

D0 the updates automatically appear in Plan-G or will it require an update? 
I noticed in FS2020s latest update that they added a couple of airports and added towers to over 700 already existing airports.

No, you'll need to rebuild your database for new/changed stuff to appear.

That would be a nice feature.  A menu option or a button to UPDATE DATABASE.  Until then, what's the way to handle that?  Delete the old and run the program???

You just go to the data ribbon and click on Build Navigation Database, select the sim(s) you want to build for, and off you go.

There is no separate button for "update database" because it would just do the same thing.

Edit: there's likely to be a new build sometime this weekend, which will require a database rebuild, so it might be worth holding off rebuilding your database for that (unless you particularly want to rebuild right now).
