Hi Tim -

First - the jerky movement cleared up - deleted all - unzipped - rebuilt FSX db - all seems well - a little jerky but not a problem. I'll check later but it might have to do with manually selecting Simconnct rather than Auto.

Noticed two things - dragged Plan-G to second monitor - the system control icons ( min/max/close) only function on a DOUBLE click or a right click menu select. If I drag it back to main monitor, a sibngle click will min/max the screen as expected. When on second monitor, even clicking once to get focus still requires a doubleclick to execute.

2nd item - made a change to the AI refresh rate on the fly from 10 sec default to 1 sec and it never updated. I would assume that one would have to reload the cfg file to get the changes BUT I don't recall seeing that in the manual.

May also be influenced by the amount of clutter on the screen, whether you have weather updates enabled (there are some nasties associated with the weather handling in 0.8 )

Please see the FAQ section on multiple monitors.

Sounds like a bug - I'll investigate.

I'm embarrassed - I can't fid a FAQ other than what's at the top of this forum and I don't see anything about multiple monitors. I'll reread the manual and see if it's there.

Thanx!

My fault - I was convinced I'd put it in there, - it comes up quite often, Hava a look at this thread http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=341.msg2132#msg2132 or search on 'left' or 'multi'

LOL!

Read the thread and don't really see the connection. Other programs work fine on second monitor but PG has an issue.

Further info - on second monitor - I was mistaken - system icons do not work at all - however if you doubleclick the *title* bar, PG will toggle fullscreen. That's all you can do. Right click the system icons on second monitor will open the context menu on the main monitor. Also the program icons for new plan, hide ribbon etc - the area to activate the icon is about two pixels below the icon. Mousing over the icon has no effect. Makes no difference if FS is running or not.

Yes this is exactly the problem It's a bug in the MS ribbon code. If the second monitor is on the right it all works; if it's on the left it doesn't.

Ah - ok, I get it now.
