I have just caught up with v4, and I am building my scenery databases. I have used the Additional Scenery Locations area to add a couple of folders which have extra scenery. I click the OK after selecting the folders, but if I go back into the screen again, the additional locations I have added are gone. Am I missing something in this bit of the setup? The main scenery locations for X-Plane 11 and FSX are fine.
The only stupid question is the one that isn't asked.

It doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong.

Look for a file in My Documents\Plan-Gv4 Files\ called AdditionalSceneryLocations.txt. This is the file that that UI creates (you can create an edit this file manually in Notepad - just place one folder/path per line). If the file is not there, have a look in the log file to see if there are any errors produced.

I went looking for that file, and it wasn't there. Checking the log, I saw that permission to create the file had been denied. I tweaked the .exe file to Run as Administrator and it all seems to be OK now. Thanks for the heads-up.
