Hi everybody,

Just discovered and downloaded G-Map which seems to be very useful.
I'll try it soon and give you my feeling.

Regards.

Hi, McFly91.

Are you referring to the FSWidgets freeware moving map?

Yes, it's cute, but not nearly as useful as Plan-G IMO. One advantage is that it will run on top of the FSX window (with FSX in windowed mode). And it can load FSX flight plans. There is a version for FS9, too.

BUT, there IS some competition coming for Plan-G from FSWidgets:

Hi jschall,

I apologize for my mistake, of course i wanted to write Plan-G, not G-Map... When i wrote my message i was chatting with other people.

I've already heard about G-Map but never tested.

So, Plan-G seems very useful, i did not have time to try it yesterday but i hope i could tonight.

Regards.
