I know that this great facility is more than just a map, and I'm planning to read the whole manual until I master it, but for the time being please help me with this issue, with which I'll start having a little fun and at the same time continue with the reading of the manual:
What do I do to see my plane on the map while flying?

Before I go back and continue reading the manual from the beginning, please tell me if I'm right in assuming the following: working with one monitor, the Plan-G works behind the FS window and in order to check the map is necessary to change the FS to window mode and bring the Plan-G window to the front and by doing this the FS pauses. Once we want to continue flying we get FS back to the front. Or is it possible to to fly and see the map simultaneously in a small window?

There is a setting in FS called 'Pause of Task switch'. Turn this off and it will no longer pause when you switch to Plan-G.
