Building Database across network

Hi,
I have FSX one one PC and PlanG on another connecte on a local network. PlanG and FSX are connected via SimConnect and work fine except that, despite having the correct path to the FSX scenery cfg set in PlanG, I cannot build the FSX database.
Is there a workaround I can use ?

That's the path on my Vista system  => C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX
