Plan-G error when changing airports

I have Plan-G on my desktop with FSX plus on my laptop, both connected to Plan-G via SimConnect.

When I have Plan-G connected to the flight sim via SimConnect and I change airports through the menu in FSX Plan-G develops some sort of error and shuts down.

This happens on both the desktop and laptop.

I was just wondering if this is normal?   

It definitely is not a problem as all I have to do is disconnect Plan-G when I change airports and then reconnect.
