loosing airports

I have just upgraded to WIN 7 pro 64 bit. I have just downloaded latest PLAN-G. After installing and running "Build FSX database" noticed that when I uncheck "map overlays" I lose the airports as well.
I do not want to use map overlays but I want to keep the airports.I did not have this problem using PLAN-G in WN XP.
Please help.

Correct - that is its purpose: to quickly turn everything off. You can deselect individual overlays from the Map ribbon tab. Just remember that the settings apply only to the current zoom level.
