Can you please upload your log file, and we'll take a look.

Just attach it to a forum post - click on 'Additional Options' when you're in the post editor.

Is your map located at Vashon Island?

What happens if you tick the Hide Overlays button, or move the map to somewhere else?

OK. I removed every reference to plan-G, cleaned out my registry. ran the latest zip from you, and got the same result that I posted on page1 of this thread.. the unknown name window. it would seem I have a scenery file that is crashing plan-G. I will remove Vashon island and try again. Teecee.

I've just installed Vashon Island (both airports), and don't get a problem, so I'm not convinced it's that.

I am still seeing the same result.. the end of this last log is interesting, and may give you a pointer.. seem possible that it is an aircraft that is causing this? Teecee.

On the face of it, that suggests that it can't find several funcyions in the script file. Now, assuming that you haven't accidentally deleted  it (google.html. If you had, Plan-G wouldn't work at all), that isn't the real problem. I spent some time googling around, and I've found a whole bunch of people with the same issue (in other software), but nothing in the way of answers.

It's way into the wee small hours, and I should have been in bed several hours ago. I'll think about it some more tomorrow.

Thanks Tim, I appreciate your time. Teecee.

Try turning your Internet Security settings down a notch or two. See this thread: http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=613.0

You were right about the security settings Tim, and I have set it to medium, but now Plan-G cannot find the Google html.. I have GE installed, and it works, though I did update it the other day, so that may have caused a problem. any clues? Teecee.

tim arnot

It's the main script file for P-G, so if it' gone missing, reinstall it from the zip.

Thanks for your time. All done and back to normal. Teecee.
