Hello, I am a new member and just started using Plan -G.
I use P3Dv4.5, and have for several years, and used FS9 and FSX prior.
My question relates to loading flight plans into P3Dv4.5,(.PLN format). When I create a flight plan in Plan-G all looks good.
I can export it to P3Dv4.5 and it shows up in the list: Navigation\Flightplanner\Load\Available Flight Plans.
Interestingly the flight plan does not show in the list when selecting: Scenario\Load\Load Scenario (maybe that's for saved flights?)
When selecting the flight plan and trying to load it, it will not load.
I can load other PLN flight plans in the list without problems.
I would appreciate any comments.

Can you attach the flight plan here please (you may need to zip it first), and I'll take a look at it.
You are correct in that 'Load Scenario' looks for .flt files and not .pln files.

Here is the file.
I just checked it again and it will not load.
If I select the file in LittleNavMap and save it to the default location it will display and it will load.
I have also included a couple of screenshots to show the file and what happens after clicking the okay button.

The problem with this plan is that it contains no airports. In P3D (and FSX) every flight plan must start and end at an airport.
Every point in this plan is a "User Waypoint". Some of them may be in the same place as an airport, but that does not mean P3D will see them as airports. You also have a couple of waypoints with very long names. These will also cause P3D to choke.
In the current version, you would need to delete the first and last waypoints and replace them with airports (Add Airport for the destination, and Insert Airport Before for the start. Shorten the two long names (say, max 10 characters), and then it should load fine in P3D.
The next update (hopefully later today, or maybe tomorrow), will do this automatically for you if you load the plan and re-export it.
