The location button is not used for X-Plane by design, since it uses the _install.txt files to locate the data.

Can you please attach a log showing a build with the XP12 button selected and it actually building 11, since I'm not able to reproduce that.

Yes, you'll see an Attachments tab beneath the post edit box.

The log file is in My Documents\Plan-Gv4 Files\

On last version, adding the correct path in the files/options would make it work. I now only have XP12 on my machine, It first scanned my clean folder, I corrected path and it scanned the correct folder, but it seems to be ignoring Airports. All the nav stuff is showing but no airports list.
Thanks

Do you have multiple entries in your AppData\Local\x-plane_install_12.txt file? if so, is Plan-G picking up the correct one?

Please try this build - I think I found some ways for the version and path to get out of sync. Also it should now remember the X-Plane version between sessions. In any case, it provides a lot more logging.

I would, Most people run multiple copies of xplane. As its simple to run a clean and used version even multiple versions on one machine. I noticed that XPLANE doesnt even appear with the path in this last test run. Might be far easier just to be able to point to correct directory.
Im not sure but might be worthwhile to be able to display what Navigraph version its found somewhere
Test ver worked but I have no idea of which folder its looking at have to rescan and read log
Yes its looking at the wrong XP12 folder. Its scanned H{12} when I need it to scan I (11)
10:38:31.7 X-Plane installs found at:
12. H:\X-Plane 12 Clean/
11. I:\X-Plane 12/

I changed order in that list its now scanning correct directory

Looks like this build version found the XP12 folder/directory and read the data. I now see that in the "build navigation database settings there is no longer any user fields for Xplane path anymore so I guess this buid of Plan G is finding and processing automatically.

Seems to be working correctly if I select xp11 the data is processed from the correct xp11 folder and when xp12 is selected the correct xp12 folder is processed.

Do you want or need a log file?

Thanks
John
