Hi there,
I have just installed V4.1.4.272 and tried both "Quick Plan" and loading an old flight plan file and when I open the plan Elevation page(window) I get no data at all.
Window shows:
Height(ft) 0 to 1
Distance (nm) 0 to 1
Cruising Altitude is set to 10,500
Also is there a Discord server?
Thanks for any help
David.

Re: V4.1.4.272 No Plan Elevation data
Have you installed the NOAA DEM tiles? (manual p 65)
You can get them from https://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/mgg/topo/gltiles.html
No, there's no discord server. Discord is too ephemeral, hard to search and not a particularly good match for providing support.

Re: V4.1.4.272 No Plan Elevation data
Greetings.......
I am also having the same issue.
1. downloaded the 'tiles' from NOAA
2. copied into 'DEM' folder
3. loaded P3dv4 plan
3. No elevation displayed
To test the elevation data - re-installed PLAN-G ver 3 - added 'tiles' to DEM folder
and elevation was displayed correctly.
Thanks Tim (great job on Plan G, as usual)

Re: V4.1.4.272 No Plan Elevation data
For version 4, check that you have the DEM tiles in Plan-Gv4 Files\DEM rather than Plan-G Files\DEM (v3). It's an easy mistake to make...

Re: V4.1.4.272 No Plan Elevation data
OMG.........I've done it again !! (Forgot an important detail)
Plan Gv4 - Elevation WORKS on the P3d Computer
Here's the part I FORGET to mention - P3d v4 is on a NETWORKED computer. (FSUIPC - Wide Client)
It does not work on the networked computer.
Cheerss

Re: V4.1.4.272 No Plan Elevation data
Which computer it's on shouldn't make a difference - so long as the tiles are on the same computer. Have a look in the log (Plan-Gv4 Files\Plan-Gv4Log.txt) - it'll say something along the lines of DEM file not found, along with a path (that may not be the exact text, I'm not near my PC to check)

Re: V4.1.4.272 No Plan Elevation data
Okay......we've got it figured out. Success !!
To be sure - I uninstalled - including REMOVING "Appdata\local\tasoftware\PlanG"
And did a full clean re-install - including 'file locations' (first)
Under "File / Locations" the (Mapped) Drive of Prepar3d.exe MUST be shown
Under "File / Locations" the (Mapped) Drive of Scenery.cfg MUST be shown
Once my Remote Computer could find both file locations - Elevation worked.
Cheers
