Unable to "Connect"

I have installed Plan-G4 on my desktop to fly X-Plane 12. All information appears but when I try to "Connect" my flight plan the audio sounds and the blue tab goes grey but then the tab asks me to connect again. No aircraft appears at departure point although the flight path is shown. Any help appreciated please.

Do you have XPUIPC installed? That needs to be running - Plan-G uses it as a go-between.
