Hi Tim,
Do you have a tool or a way to accomplish this?
Steve

For MSFS? No. I think it's actually cloud based. To be honest, I havent really investigated, since it's so poorly implemented in MSFS - on my system it almost never gets the flight details correct

Hi Tim,
FS logbook is stored on the local drive:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs, This is where the fun starts. You have to figure out which subdirectory has the log file. it should be the most resent dated subdirectory. I back mine up to keep my flight hours if anything should happen to the sim.
I wish I could export it to your PG database.

Yeah I saw that. It's kinda expensive for a one-job tool. And he doesn't publish the CSV layout that he exports to, which makes it hard to support.
Info on the binary format must be out there somewhere, so it'll be better ultimately better to import directly. I don't want to be relying on someone else's payware. For a free app, I think that's a disservice to my users.

Do you still have the csv you exported? It may be possible to figure it out from that.

Yes I still have 2 of them and the log file that 1 of them came from.
If you want them PM me where I can send it.
I do not remember which folder but it was exported from a local PC folder file.
The file was one with a hole lot of characters for it's name.
David.
