I downloaded Plan-G (v 4.2.3.288) and installed no problem, created data base P3D no problem , thank you.
In File>Options General tab , the pop up msg when hovering over any of he Subscription maps says the same, pointing to Mapbox and not to Stadia.
Is there help to setup the free Stadia maps subscription...

Ok, the tooltip. Thanks, I'll fix that.
So, go to https://stadiamaps.com/pricing/ and click on the Free or other plan as appropriate.
Then you can create whatever map styles you want. (see their Docs page for guidance). Then in Plan-G, the api key for your account goes in the key box, and the style id for the map goes in the style box.
(it works exactly the same as Mapbox, just the URL is different)
