Hello PlanG-Users,
I'm writing for a friend who doesn't speak English.
He already uses latest Plan-G version 4.2.3.288 for MSFS under Windows 11 Pro sucessfully for a while now but suddenly the all icons in the "View" ribbon (like PlanG Elevation,PDF, radios etc) are clickable (turning gray) but the associated little windows don't open or are not displayed (or not to bee seen?) anymore for unknown reasons. Same problem under the "Logbook" ribbon (like AicraftList, -Data, -Profile etc.)
He has two monitors but none of the clicked window appears on either of them.
I deinstalled PlanG and all associated data and installed PG v288 again on his computer but without any sucess.
An error is not shown in the Plan-Gv4_Log.txt file.
Does anyone have an idea to solve this problem?
Regards
Dieter

Re: Windows in "View" and "Logbook" ribbon don't appear
Addendum:
Presumably the "disappeared" windows described above are located outside the screen so that they are not in the visual range.
Is it possible to get these little (sub-) windows back into the monitor's field of view? (pulling them back somehow)
Dieter

Re: Windows in "View" and "Logbook" ribbon don't appear
In Options -> General there is a button "Reset Tool Windows" (it doesn't look very like a button, but it is a button!). Click that and then restart Plan-G. All your popup windows will be reset to their default positions.
The "brute force" method would be to delete the user.config file in AppData\Local\TA_Software (a reinstall doesn't do that, so it won't make a difference).

All (sub)windows are back now. Thanks for your help, Tim!
