Hello,
I just download the new version and found the info about the new transmitter. After download, entering the server URL, the PIN, my Callsign, Pilotname, "NoGroup" and the server I press connect and got an error message "Problem connecting to Simulator...". After reading a bit I found an info that I had to enter my Aircraft Type too. But how? After another search I found the link to the website, but is only the map and no traffic.
What did I do wrong?
regards and happy fliy
Georg

Re: Transmitter offline?
Hi Georg,
Sorry for the delay replying. First off, make sure that Transmitter is installed on the same PC as your simulator - it won't connect to it over a network. Also it is very much specific to MSFS 2020; it hasn't been tested in 2024, so may not work with that.
Secondly, Make sure the simulator is actually running - it can't connect to a sim that isn't running.
Thirdly, it could be that Transmitter has been blocked on your machine by Windows, and given reduced privileges. Right click the transmitter program icon and select 'Properties'. Check through the tabs for a message saying it has been blocked. You will need to be logged on as Administrator to unblock it.
If you have an antivirus or firewall running, that could also be blocking it.
Transmitter gets your aircraft type directly from the simulator, there is no way to enter it manually.
Hope that helps.

Re: Transmitter offline?
Hi Tim,
same to me posting.php?mode=reply&t=220#
I found out that I can only "see" myself. Maybe, not tested, one other Aircraft.
Is there a way to show all Aircraft within a range of my area? Could be interesting
to see where friends are "now". The "frieds" function of MSFS didn't work correct
in my sim and I didn't find out why. (Friends are shown in the list, but not in the
world map (but not all, only a few) and those are not deletable (greyed out))
Happy flights
