did you have any further thoughts as to why the data-base compiler doesent work?

It's old and cranky, and can get marginal on memory. At its core the bgl reader is 15 year old code that's been added to and added to. MSFS pushes it to the extreme. Most of the time a reboot will get it working again, but ultimately it'll need a ground up rethink. And that's not a trivial job.

If I may hijack this thread, I am having the same problem, it shows no data, and populates nothing. I followed the steps, deleting the file and restarting, recompiling, still nothing.

There's no database build in that log (log files won't survive running the program again on a different day)

Thanks Tim, it does not seem to WANT to build a database, i have tried many times, and it just never builds it. Dunno whats going on. missing the days of just finding your scenery.cfg
