When you first open the Find dialog, do you see any airports listed? (they should all be there/
If not, your database probably didn't build correctly. Please try building it again, and if it still doesn't show any airports, attach the log file from the build here.

Yes it doesn't use that method any more; now it auto detects all your X-Plane installs and lets you choose between them.

According to the log, it's finding your X-Plane 12 install, but not the apt.dat file. Could you do a quick scan of your hard drive and tell me its location - that would be appreciated.

Mine is in Global Scenery\Global Airports\Earth nav data\

I dont think it is finding XP12, see screen shot, If I dont enter the path it doesnt find it, I think thats the problem,
XP12 path is,
I:\X-Plane 12
APT dat is same as yours
I:\X-Plane 12\Global Scenery\Global Airports\Earth nav data
Its on a NVME drive

Ok thanks, I see the problem:
It's not setting the version of X-Plane you want to build until you click one of the buttons (9, 10, 11, 12) even though the 12 button appears to be selected. I'll fix that in the next build. In the mean time click on the 12 button before you build, and it should find all the airports.

Can you go to your C:\Users\(me)\AppData\Local\ folder and open the x-plane_install_12.txt file.
This contains the path that Plan-G uses. Please check that it is correct and amend if if necessary.

Funny thing if I go to options, and put path in there, it works. Mind you I have to delete it from the database search and restart first. Ill look at that in morning. But old method seemed to fix it.

That worked had to delete path, had some erroneous ones in there, reran xplane installer which fixed path. Testing now but at least its scanning data.
OK another one. Mine has 2 paths, one to the clean install and one to my normal everyday one. Plan-g grabs first one in the list. it scanned my clean so changed order now scanning my normal one
