The Open Street, map does not load properly. I am getting blue squares. Is there a general problem or is it just me? I can use Open Cycle map but I prefer the Open Street, map. Regards John Earl |

It seems to be an upstream blockage - I get tiles sometimes, but not always (plus you will see tiles that are already cached on your PC). It should also be better in v4.2, which I'm hoping to upload later today |

Ok. I have had problems in the past when trying to build the MSFS data base after installing a new version. Invariably I have had to use a data base from a downloaded file. If I update to ver. 4.2 will I have to use this database? Also, I have created a large number of personal points of interest. How can I ensure I retain these? Regards John Earl |

Points of interest are in a totally separate file, so you shouldn't lose those. Also the logbook is completely separate, so you won't lose that. The old database won't work in v4.2, so you'll have to build a new one. The new format was partly a response to problems that people were having building the old one - those problems shouldn't happen now (it's had several months of testing with no issues) |
